Camping

There is no cell service at Hornings Hideout, there will be wifi available.

Camping sites at Stage Site (Ceremony & Reception location) are available at 4pm on September 10, 2026 until 11am on September 12, 2026.

Bring whatever you'd like to be comfy while camping, *wink*

For camping, bring your own food as we won't be providing much besides the traditional reception food.

If you're coming from out of town and wish to camp:

There is a company "City Lights Glamping" that will come and set up a tent for you that includes a bed, or can be just a tent. We are already using this service for ourselves.

-and maybe... you can buy something from REI and then return it.

They are pet friendly: "dogs are allowed though they must be leashed at all times and must be dogs that get along very, very well with other dogs. Aggressive dogs are not allowed at any time."

Camp fires are not allowed, propane only. No wood fires allowed in the barbeques, only bring briquettes/charcoal.

The Stage area can camp at least 200 people, along with 10 RVs spots with power and water hook ups. Generators are permitted.

Curious about what the Stage Site looks like? If you go to Horning's Hideout website, they have a virtual tour. (link below)

Other information from HH:

The Stage Site must be cleaned up and vacated by 9/12 9am. All tables and chairs must be returned under the pavilion and chairs stacked in groups of 10. Do not collapse the tables.

Our cleaning crew arrives at 9am. You are responsible for the removal of all cardboard, wine/hard liquor bottles, and flowers. Please do not dispose of unwanted floral decorations in the woods. We discourage the use of flower pedals or other messy items. You will need to pick up all items in the covered area, gravel or grass. Please pour all unfinished drinks into the liquid waste bins. Do not dispose of any beverages on the lawn or gravel areas. Ask us where to dispose of ice.

Lawn area: We want to keep it green. You are free to use the lawn area for your wedding and reception. Only tables, chairs, and certain lawn games like Giant Jenga, Croquet and Bocce Ball. We do not allow serving areas for food and beverages, photo booths, tents, rugs or blankets, umbrella stands, Badminton, and corn hole on the lawn. Dancing is not allowed on the lawn.

Traveling To/From:

The roads to Horning's Hideout are country roads. Gravel, winding, and poor lighting at best. Please keep this in mind!
